Hi everyone — great news!

The DC Department of Parks & Recreation has requested a letter of support from the ANC for the community park and dog park. I recently joined and presented to the Ward 5 Beautification Committee; they unanimously agreed to support the project and will draft a formal resolution in its favor. That resolution will strengthen our application and is a major step toward securing DPR approval and funding.

Next steps:

- The Beautification Committee will complete the resolution and submit it to the ANC for review.

- We’ll keep everyone in the loop with DPR on any community engagement sessions.

- I’ll share the resolution and any draft letter of support for feedback once the ANC prepares it
