As representatives of the vast majority of the Gay community of Australia and friends of, as well as other members of the Australian public, we stand apposed to the petition to change the name of the ice cream brand ‘Golden Gaytime’. 
We do not find this brand name offensive and actually enjoy the name. It would be more offensive to us for the name to be changed because of a possible association to the gay community.  The petition to change the product name as launched supposedly by a ‘Brian Mc’ is Political Correctness gone mad and we implore you to stand up to this absurdity and keep our beloved non offensive brand name the way it is.
