Power outages have been a recurrent problem here in Quezon City Science High School. With the school only having a single unit of power supply or two, this isn't really much of a surprise.

Aside from power outages, having unbalanced and improper ventilation affects the students' capacity and ability to learn. Here are additional disadvantages that come with improper ventilation inside our classrooms:

• Unhealthy classroom environment; caused by air pollutants freely able to come inside and outside our classrooms
• Heat strokes and other heat-related injuries; caused by prolonged exposure of the body to high temperatures
• Inadequate teaching strategies; caused by the incapability of teachers to use certain media of teaching such as projectors due to electrical issues
• Unpresentable appearance of students; caused by uncontrolled perspiration of the body due to high temperatures
• Dysfunctional workplaces; caused by incapacity to work under unpleasant situations such as a hot environment

My partner and I, under the name of Pawer Balanse, would like to raise the awareness of our fellow Scientians in order to improve QueSci's classroom ventilation and minimize power issues to promote a better learning environment for its students. We would like to implement a uniform classroom ventilation strategy so that every class may experience an equal yet better classroom ventilation that the school's power supply will be able to keep up with.
