Emojis. There’s one for feeling dizzy, there’s one for throwing up, there’s even one for a head exploding. But somehow there’s still no emoji that really captures what it means to be in the middle of a migraine attack.

When you’re suffering, the last thing you want to do is explain why you’re missing another night out, an important meeting or a day with the family. That’s why we’ve started a petition for Unicode Consortium, a non-profit that regulates the coding standards for written computer text, to create the world’s first migraine emoji! I mean, if even the zombies get their own emoji, isn’t it about time we did as well?
