Dear Global Community:

The support for our community flag emoji campaign has been great. We want to thank everybody for signing the emoji petition. We will be presenting the signatures to the Unicode Consortium next week to strongly encourage them to include new flag emojis on the next global keyboard update. 

We also have a new crisis that needs your help. Since 1997, the Rainbow Flag has flown proudly at Harvey Milk Plaza in San Francisco. Gilbert Baker, the flag creator, designed this flagpole art installation. But that tradition is now in danger. A group of community activists wants to pull down the flag and replace it with community flags. Please sign this petition and save the Rainbow Flag!
