For years, Internet users have endured life without a flamingo emoji, yet we desperately search our emoji keyboards at least twice a day for it. Why wouldn't we? There are two varieties of cattle and camel, a weird fish we never use, five reptiles (two of which are mythical dragons), and flan—so of course we would search for such a ubiquitous icon like the flamingo. Then we remember the baffling and harsh truth: we live in a world where our favorite emoji (the flamingo emoji) does not exist. It's time for that to change. We demand the creation of this totally necessary and noticeably absent emoji.
