Prince was a legendary singer-songwriter who was loved by millions. He died suddenly today, April 21st 2016, at age 57.

There will no doubt be many tributes to this great man from many different places, and my suggestion is for the Unicode Consortium to pay him tribute by including his love symbol as an emoji in the upcoming version of the Unicode Standard, version 9.0.
