12,500 have now signed the "Unfair Car Tax Petition". An email is sent every time someone signs the Petition, to the Minister for Finance and 5 other political party and group leaders. 1,000,000 Irish pre-2008 car owners are unfairly taxed 3 TIMES more than those who can afford new cars. €439 Million from Car Tax & LPT is used to fund Irish Water. So, pre-2008 car owners are subsidising both the Car Tax and Water Charges of those who can afford NEW CARS ... how crazy is that? UK MPs refused to pass this odious law in 2004.
