I just can’t wrap my head around this!

Benny’s on the Beach https://chng.it/xvp6tp65n5 gets almost 8,000 signatures on their petition to save the establishment – which is great! BUT - a petition https://www.change.org/billtohigh addressing how much Benny’s and everyone else pays for electricity and how the rates are determined only gets 1,100 signatures. Someone please explain this complacency and lack of involvement of the rate payers of the City of Lake Worth Beach. There can be only one conclusion to this – The rate payers are satisfied with and will go along with whatever The Commissioners of the City of Lake Worth Beach decide to do! You want change - get more involved and do more to help yourselves! Pay attention to the topics and agenda’s set forth by the City Commissioners, attend Board meetings and express your grievances and concerns! Participation is the answer!
