Tumblr has recently announced an update where a reblog of a post will get its own section. However, absolutely nobody wanted nor asked for this, and it may make the original poster feel like nobody is interacting with their post, because all of the notes go to the reblogs.
It eradicates the sense of community that Tumblr reblogs used to provide, as well as makes it so that a reblog can get wildly more popular than the original post, basically stealing the post.
