Mike Adams has tormented, harassed and flat out disrespected UNCW students long enough, and it's time we stand up to his obtuse behavior.  Whether you are a prospect student, current student, alumni, or member of the greater Wilmington, NC community, we likely agree Mike Adams is not cultivating an environment that UNCW represents.  Negatively targeting students (who are teenagers!) is disturbing, and UNCW is receiving a tarnished reputation from this guy.  Just because he is a tenured professor does not mean he can get away with discrimination.  A student would never get away with this behavior, so why is a professor allowed to do such pathetic practice.

I am a proud alumni of UNCW, and I cannot let Mike Adams ruin my pride.  Let's join together and remind Chancellor Jose V. Sartarelli that we mean business.  As the highest leader of UNCW, he must help the university rise above Adams and let our community know we care.  Sign this petition to amplify our passion to keep UNCW as a distinguished institution.
