"We, the undersigned citizens of Nevada, respectfully petition the Cannabis Compliance Board to cease all operations immediately. We believe that the current regulations and laws governing the cannabis industry in our state are unconstitutional and violate our fundamental rights as citizens.

We urge the Cannabis Compliance Board to the Relocation of the NV Medical Cannabis Program (NV-MMP) from the Cannabis Compliance Board back into its own division within the Department of Behavioral Health under the Department of Health and Human Services and/or Department of Licensing under the U.S. Center for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS):immediate action to rectify this situation and to work with lawmakers and other stakeholders to develop a new, fair, and constitutional framework for the regulation of cannabis in Nevada. We believe that such a framework should respect the rights of individuals to use and distribute cannabis for medical or personal reasons while protecting public health and safety.

The Cannabis Compliance Board is still fining, jailing, and displacing people with that nothing has changed in a way that actually benefits the entrepreneur, the public, especially the patients.

The recreational side of cannabis should be placed under the jurisdiction of the Agricultural Department and treated in a fair and free manner that is inclusive and allows accessibility to everyone.

We ask that the Cannabis Compliance Board take this matter seriously, and act quickly to address our concerns and protect the rights of all Nevadans. Thank you for your attention to this important matter."
