West Virginia University students need your help! This Friday, 9/15, there is a vote occurring amongst the West Virginia University Board of Governors that will decide whether or not their "Academic Transformation" program goes through. This includes the cutting of 30+ majors; including the entire world languages department, the masters in theater, a good portion of the math department, and the puppetry program; and the laying off of 174+ faculty members. President Gee and the Board of Governors have blatantly disregarded the opinions expressed by the faculty in the vote of no-confidence on 9/6, misrepresenting the actions of both parties to the media.

We urge the board to call for an immediate freeze to the academic transformation process. 

A threat to education somewhere means a threat to education everywhere, show the WVU Board of Governors and President Gee that UNC students care!
