Unchain Her Voice, Transform Our World

Unchain Her Voice, Transform Our World
The Issue
Just like millions of single cells construct a human anatomy, society as a whole is a being in its own, built by the contribution of every single individual, and women are a vital part of it. Just as concrete as it sounds in theory, it oppositely is as insubstantial as it can be.
Living in a world where Women in one part are not even allowed to speak the names of their husbands to the other part where millions of sexual abuse cases occur and nothing changes, it simply just seems unfair.
Beginning from the part where I live, in the interval of a decade's time I have witnessed movements, protests by the people towards the government to do the right thing and punish the criminal offenders committing heinous crimes like sexual abuse, rape and molestation, but all that happens is cases pending and going on for years and years altogether. After eight long years the Nirbhaya Case was resolved, eight years and immediately after that, not surprisingly enough the R.G Kar rape case emerged. When will the government begin to take actions to help and prevent this? Should we depend on the judiciary and expect justice? This is a never-ending cycle of justice and criminality, but just like every drop of water makes an ocean, small steps like these will help us transform the up takings of justice. We want the GOI to take strict actions and measures to solve THE R.G KAR rape case and serve justice to the rightly deserved.
The statistics on rape in India are deeply concerning. According to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), India registered 31,677 cases of rape in 2021, which averages to about 86 cases per day. This is a significant issue that highlights the need for continued efforts to address and prevent sexual violence.
Expedition of judicial proceedings and trial periods are the need of the hour. We want a change, a significant one.
