To FCPS, from a student: FCPS schools have banned many educational websites like Prodigy, Blooket, Gimkit, and even Scratch, a coding platform used by our schools very own coding classes! We are afraid that they might block Kahoot next!! They've censored pinterest, geoguessr, amazon, spotify, most of youtube, and many other websites. What harm are they doing? The thing doing more harm are the game websites kids are finding that could be unsafe since you give them noting else to do. There is nothing to do during indoor recess anymore, and school is more stressful and boring. We are forced into doing IXLs and Lexia, both of which don't add any fun to learning. I think I speak for my entire school when I say IXLS are boring and we hate them. The fact that our school pays money to use these things in kind of sad, especially since the other, fun stuff is free. Sign and share to help unblock these, and I will share this with higher ups.
