Thousands of young people on Discord and Roblox are being exposed to dangerous communities known as “condos”—servers that host explicit content, encourage predatory behavior, and have been linked to grooming. Ro-Cleaner was a powerful, optional tool used by moderators to automatically detect and ban accounts tied to these harmful spaces. With Ro-Cleaner banned, server owners have lost one of the few tools actually working to keep kids safe.

If nothing is done, these predators will continue to operate freely, hiding in plain sight while Discord claims to protect user privacy. But this isn’t about privacy—it’s about safety. By banning Ro-Cleaner, Discord has sent the message that protecting potential abusers from being flagged is more important than protecting children from being targeted. Reinstating Ro-Cleaner—or offering a real alternative—is essential to stop exploitation before it happens.

Every day without a solution means more kids are at risk. The condo server problem is only growing—some making thousands of dollars a month off harmful content, right under Discord’s nose. If Discord won’t take action, the community must speak up. Ro-Cleaner was a step in the right direction, and banning it without any replacement is unacceptable. Demand change now.
