UNBAN Pixilart from the Lightspeed filtering system

The Issue

Lightspeed has wrongfully banned Pixilart even though Pixilart specifically says on their website that they are tool designed for a younger demographic, the system wrongfully assumed that it makes "adult art" in which it does not because Pixilart has it's own filtering of what it classifies as inappropriate. Pixilart was may favorite art activity to do during art class and study hall but now I have nothing else to do, art teachers who wish to teach how to make pixel sprites like the iconic Super Mario games have lost the BEST and most popular website for pixel drawings and animation. Pixilart even says on their website that they are designed for a younger demographic.

Pixilart is not mature or for adults only.

1. Pixilart bans swear words and nudity

2. You can make teacher accounts that can customize settings (like uploading or commenting) and create virtual classrooms

3. You cannot upload drawings or comment if you are younger than 13

4. You can't send direct messages

5. All art is moderated to make sure it is safe

6. Reporting and Blocking

7. No political stuff

8. No guns, racism or bullying

9. Pixilart is for all ages

10. Used for digital art classes

11. Pixilart guides students to think creatively while also paying close attention to detail

12. Teachers can remove student accounts

13. Teachers can view all of their student's art

14. Teachers can create assignments using their virtual classroom

15. Easy and free to use introduction to the world of digital art like  Photoshop

16. Creating pixel art using Pixilart develops problem solving skills, thoughtful planning

Lightspeed claims that the "Root domain contains explicit content and is correctly categorized as mature.art" but that couldn't be further from the truth because the website CLEARLY states that "This strict standard [the websites policies and rules] ensures that all the content on our site is 'all-age appropriate', making it a safe and enriching resource for users of any age group."

The best way to help is to go to this website: https://archive.lightspeedsystems.com/  and search "Pixilart.com", then type your email and then write your reasons to unban Pixilart.

This ban negatively impacts art teachers and students who wish to express themselves creatively. We must act now so Lightspeed can learn that us students are not going to stand for this intrusive and downright controlling filtering!
