my name is eevee and i’ve been banned from the Jollz discord server. i talked to one of the beloved mods on this server. i understand fully how the ban system works, but i’d like to protest the justification in this ban. 

the first time i was warned, i’m not 100% sure as to why i was warned because it was a long time ago. the second time, i was timed out for 24 hours for making a joke in general chat. one of my acquaintances had said something along the lines of “i hate people” in general chat, and i replied “i hate white people”. clearly a joke. now, i understand that it was probably not a smart idea to say that in an active chat. but since i am autistic, i thought other people would see that, put together that im white, and realize that i was joking. then, a couple of members saw that i used they/them pronouns. the people that didn’t agree with me started deliberately misgendering me, which resulted in wintry banning them. things were said such as “i only know he or she”, “you can be racist but i have to respect your pronouns?” et cetera. after i explained to a couple of my friends in vc my point of view, i was forgiven by a large sum of the people that were upset over this debate that i never intended to spark. 

last night (November 5, 2022), i was permanently banned from the Jollz server. i still don’t really know what for, as i was never given a clear reason. all i know is that my friends were sending gifs in chat, i left vc to go wash my face, i came back and i said “who r u” to a couple of people since my friends were saying it, and i came back to see that i was timed out for 24 hours. i was like damn that sucks because i didnt really do anything. then i got back online and i was banned. like. the server is gone.

i am making this petition to get unbanned from the Jollz server. I believe that if i have enough people to sign it, my membership to this server will be granted again. I was a loyal member, chatter, and server booster.
