I'm a student who, like many others, cherishes free time. But recently, our favorite free time activity, Coolmathgames, has been banned. This website was a real stress reliever for us when the pressure of studies and homework started to mount. Research has shown that taking short breaks can actually improve cognitive function and retention (Boaler, 2019). Coolmathgames offered a perfect solution to this, distracting us briefly with fun and interesting mathematical games, inspiring a love for math in many. From the kindergarteners learning addition, to high school students mastering calculus, everyone experienced the thrill of learning and having fun simultaneously. Restoring access to Coolmath Games not only preserves an important part of our leisure time, but also supports our academic efforts by keeping math fun and interactive. Now is the time to speak up for our right to learn and have fun at the same time. Please sign this petition to reinstate Coolmath Games.
