Just a quick update on this. We've received no action by Betterment for existing customers, beyond their initial intent to forgo the fee change until June 1st, 2017. Personally, I will move forward with evaluating competing financial services, such as Vanguard, Schwab Intelligent Portfolios, etc. Because switching institutions is a total pain, I was hoping to avoid it.
