PETITION TO BRING PRESIDENT VLADIMIR PUTIN BEFORE THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT

PETITION TO BRING PRESIDENT VLADIMIR PUTIN BEFORE THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT
ทำไมแคมเปญรณรงค์นี้ถึงมีความสำคัญ

We, the undersigned, submit for consideration a petition to the distinguished members of the UN General Assembly. This petition, supported by peoples of conscience, is intended to express our collective dismay and concern about the unprovoked, unjustified war launched by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, on February 24, 2022, on Ukraine.
This attack is a contravention of international law and violates Article 2(4) of the UN Charter, a central principle of the charter that obligates UN member states to refrain from using force "against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state.”
Whereas, Vladi Putin, in both his personal and professional capacity as the leader of Russia, chose to violate this tenet of international law, without regard to the expressed concerns and demands of the vast majority of nation-states who called for peace and dialogue as a substitute for wanton war.
Whereas, during the first two weeks of Mr. Putin's unnecessary and deadly war, de facto crimes against humanity have been committed. These we innumerate below.
Accordingly, we, world citizens of conscience, united in our belief that Vladi Putin, in his personal capacity, and as head of state, should be, at the earliest opportunity, brought before the International Criminal Court (ICC) to stand trial for having caused and encouraged these flagrant crimes against humanity, either directly or indirectly.
Therefore, we members of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Whatsap, YouTube, WeChat, Facebook Messenger, Snapchat, Douyin, Sina Weibo, and Kuaishou, hereby affix our names to this petition and call on the members of the UN General Assembly to do whatever may be necessary to bring Vladimir Putin, a violator of crimes against humanity, to justice.
Crimes against humanity to be charged against by Vladimir Putin.

2. Extermination
3. Enslavement
4. Deportation or forcible transfer of population
5. Imprisonment
6. Torture
7. Sexual violence
8. Persecution against an identifiable group
9. Enforced disappearance of persons
10. Other inhumane acts of a similar character intentionally causing great suffering, or serious injury to body or to mental or physical health
