Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 features an achievement called The Ultimate which is broken and unobtainable. For many, this is preventing a perfect game completion mark on their Steam profiles.

The developers themselves acknowledge that it is broken and unobtainable, but refuse to take necessary steps to rectify the issue.

Expecting the developers to fix a decade old game is unrealistic. However, the Capcom Steamworks Team can remove the achievement in less than a minute - if they are instructed to.

I intend to present this petition to the person with authority to make that decision.

Please sign if you believe Capcom should remove this achievement from the game.

I have been conversing with the Capcom Customer Support Team for two months, trying to convince them to remove the achievement. In one of their messages, they sent:

"Hello,

We forwarded this inquiry to the development teams and they have responded the following:

We looked into this issue on our end, and confirmed that the achievement "The Ultimate" could not be unlocked due to problems.

We regret to inform you that this issue cannot be fixed since there are no plans for the title update going forward.

Therefore, we are unable to provide you solutions to resolve this issue. We apologize for the trouble it caused.

We'll pay close attention to our product development going forward and we won't let this happen again. 
Your kind understanding would be much appreciated.

So, the development team understand the achievement is broken, but will not request the Steamworks team to remove it.
