As of writing, Covid-19 has 3 cases in Northern Ireland, one of which being a Queens student diagnosed with the virus. It is important that for the safety of all students of both universities that they should close. Students should not be punished for not attending classes over the fear of spread of coronavirus. Universities are one of the many worst areas for Covid-19 to spread and I think it’s important for the universities to close in Northern Ireland before it’s too late and a lot of students have the virus.
