WE NEED YOUR HELP GETTING AN INNOCENT MAN HOME! #DWAYNELOCKISINNOCENT
The Issue
Dwayne lock is currently serving a life sentence for a crime he did not commit. Back in 2010 he was convicted under the lazy unsafe racist joint enterprise law. Joint enterprise is proven to be used disproportionately in BAME cases. In 2016 this law was changed yet he is still in prison fighting for his freedom. Dwayne is a good man, and did not commit this crime. The judge himself told Dwayne during his trial that he knew he was not guilty, yet still handed him 21 years imprisonment. This is JOINT ENTERPRISE, #jengba have fought for years to have this law abolished! In 2016 they thought they were successful as the SUPREME COURT admitted they had taken a wrong turn decades before! Sadly we did not get the results we were hoping for.
There is no CCTV evidence, no eye witnesses and no forensic evidence against Dwayne, he was convicted on hearsay. His case is full of police corruption. Also the witness has since came forward claiming she had an affair with one of the officers on the case and claiming she was bullied into lying in her statement. Without this false statement Dwayne would not be in jail. She then reached out to Dwayne and wrote a statement since, taking back the accusations against him, as this has weighed heavy on her conscience Over the years.
Imagine being sentenced to 21 years for a crime you did not commit. And actually, you tried to prevent. Dwayne already did not have much faith in our justice system and he was clearly right not to. 10 years of his life gone, his whole 20’s. This is not right, this is not justice! Help us get him home to his loved ones! How can we live a normal life knowing of this complete INJUSTICE on someone we love so dearly. This law ruins lives and family’s. Don’t wait until it affects you.
Dwaynes is a good person and does not deserve the sentence he has received. We want the Supreme Court to FREE DWAYNE LOCK! HE IS INNOCENT! He did not commit this crime and should not be sitting down in prison innocently. PLEASE HELP US!
