As a victim of knife crime it has been abundantly clear knife crimes laws are NOT strict enough

We need to toughen up and help stop this before more lives are lost needlessly.

I propose we apply automatic jail sentences on anyone caught carrying a weapon such as a knife if this is an adult or if it is a juvenile maybe offer one chance but anything after that should be a one way ticket to jail because looking at the world as it is a slap on the wrist and community service just isn’t enough and it isn’t deterring criminals/would be criminals.

Seeing this from a victim stand point I understand the impact this can have on your future and your day to day life.

I have seen first hand the damage this can do to a family if they were not as lucky as I was to survive and it just makes me want to push this so much further!

The pain a family feels of a survivor or an unfortunate but quite common occurrence the not so fortunate victims is overwhelming but it does nit come close the the pain a victims battles every day. The flashbacks and nightmares are continually there where as the perpetrators are let free to continue to be the evil humans they are and we need to turn the tables allow the victims and they’re family to finally take back some control..

Allow people to feel safe in the community they live in once more.. please stand with me and let us band together to help stop this being such a prevalent issue forever
