Here is Angel's story:
On 7th August 2019,Angel escaped from her home address when an ex-partner left a gate open. Angel took herself to the park where she met another dog and got into an altercation with it. The owner of the other dog tried to separate the dogs and obtained a small injury to her hand in doing so. The Police were called and Angel was seized.
Angel has since been assessed by an independent expert as a well mannered dog who is sociable to people, friendly and playful; she is not a danger to the public. Measures have also been put in place so Angel is unable to escape again. Despite this the Magistrates ordered an immediate destruction order. The case is in the Crown Court on 13th December 2019
