Natural England currently is able to grant permission for individuals to have a license to interfere with Protected Species. We believe Natural England is moving towards Open Licencing.

There are currently two cases before the Parliamentary and Health Ombudsman   EN-262146 and EN-262121 attempting to remove these services from Natural England as they appear to be providing licenses without enforcing reporting. The later has now appeared to have been changed into four new numbers confusing the situation still further for any investigator. It also appears that investigation of whether a license is actually required is conducted over video conference and no scheduled visit to sites seems to be occurring even when deaths of protected species are reported. There has been no prosecution for these deaths.

Natural England is failing to protect our Natural Heritage. Their objectives based on three principals of Merit, Fairness and openness, are all in doubt.

Please help us stop this happening. Help us move the complaints with the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman forward and bring an end to this malpractice.

The response we have received from Natural England Area Manager has been totally unhelpful he pointed to the ancient record with incorrect telephone number and in correct legal position, which is still referenced from all of their license forms. This is disgraceful.
