Christopher Chope has continually abused the procedures of the House of Commons to block discussion of important legislation, most recently blocking a call for 'upskirting' to be made illegal. 

Despite this behaviour he has been awarded a Knighthood for political services in the 2018 New Year's Honours. Clearly his behaviour has brought the honours system into disrepute, and this is one of the reasons for which an honour can be revoked.

Because of this we call on the Prime Minister to convene the Honours Forfeiture Committee and investigate his behaviour.
