Pressure the UK government to enforce a law stating that all cosmetic companies that test on animals must declare this on their product. We believe that this will lead to a greater transparency in the cosmetic market and, eventually, to more ethical procedures.

There is currently a logo that informs the customer that a product has not been tested on animals (cruelty-free logo). However, there is none that tells the customer that a product has been tested on animals. We therefore want a logo complementing the cruelty-free one that does exactly this: tell the customer that the product they want to buy involved animal suffering.

We do not think that the problem of animal-testing lies solely within cosmetic companies, but also within the people supporting them. A large percentage of the population is not aware of how regularly cosmetic products are tested on animals. More awareness will ultimately make people stop supporting these companies and lead to more cruelty-free procedures.

It is important that companies are not able to hide the fact that the production of their products involve cruel procedures any longer. We believe that people have the will to change the world for the better and want our proposition to be the spark that starts the fire.
