I cannot thank you enough for all your support and signing the petition for an annual NHS & Key Workers' Day. You may have heard yesterday that the government are now intending to reward our NHS in the Queens honours list later this year. 

We are now at the stage where we need to put even more pressure on the government to try and get them to include this day in their honours list now.

So I ask you if you could please all write to your MPs and ask them to write to Boris Johnson (Prime Minister) urgently on the 'Write To Them' link below - Please let them know how strongly we feel about our NHS & Key Workers' sacrifice, and the recognition we seek for them.

In the message section, I suggest mentioning the below points:

As a constituent, you would like to see our NHS & Key Workers' recognised annually for all their sacrifice and work that they do, which normally goes unnoticed, and under appreciated. 

This day will also be a permanent reminder of all those who also sadly lost their lives as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. 

100,000 plus people on change.org/keyworkersday are calling on Boris Johnson to use the upcoming Queens honours list to support an annual NHS & Key Workers' Day. 

MPs can also tweet the petition using #keyworkersday

We call on you to help get recognised an annual NHS & Key Workers' Day, so their sacrifice, and the lives of all those that have been lost to Covid-19 are not forgotten.

If we all send an email to our MPs they will understand our strength of feeling for our NHS & Key Workers' to be recognised permanently. The pressure is building and together we will get our NHS & Key Workers' voices heard.
