Afternoon All,

My local MP Janet Daby was scheduled to present our petition to parliament this week, but sadly due to the Covid-19 debate overrunning she was not able to do so.

She will seek another appropriate time to raise this in Parliament, so all is not lost.

I'm also in talks with ITN for a possible interview about the petition.

In addition, the feedback I've received on how to celebrate the day has been very positive, with suggestions of a day of celebration, a 2 minute silence, to clap each year at 8pm, a memorial day, and to have an NHS & Key Workers' awards ceremony with nominations from the public. All excellent ideas.
