Afternoon All,

Last Thursday was the final clap for carers event. However, that does not mean the sacrifices of those who lost their lives in the front line of this pandemic should be forgotten.

It also does not mean that we should know longer recognise our key workers in the way that we have been doing for these last 12 weeks.

Change comes slowly, and so we may have to exercise some patience while we wait for the government to recognise our petition. However, please continue to share this petition, and mention it in any of your social media posts. You can use this url to share: change.org/keyworkersday

I'm also hopeful the petition will get a reading in the House of Commons next week from my local MP Janet Daby. If not I will ask her to keep going until an appropriate opportunity presents itself.

As we all now try and come to terms with the changes the pandemic has brought upon us, I would just like to say thank you for your continued support.
