We need your help. We are hearing more and more in the news and on social media about people having their dogs stolen for over-breeding. This is both harmful to the dogs/puppies and to their owners - and yet the crime comes in line with petty theft. More needs to be done to punish and convict those who put the safety of humans and their dogs at risk. People are doing this ONLY to make money and they don’t care about the harm to the dog or their owner. It is a serious crime that is not being taken seriously. The pandemic has escalated this crime and more needs to be done about it. Homes are being systematically targeted and people are being attacked to steal dogs so they can be kept in terrible conditions and forced to breed - so puppies can be sold for massive profits. The sale of puppies should be regulated and people should have to go through checks before selling. Where organized crime is happening - it needs to have harsher penalties. Please help us to get this in front of those who can make a change in our law.
