Make Puppy Farming Illegal within the UK

Make Puppy Farming Illegal within the UK
The Issue
Our campaign is to raise awareness for illegal puppy farming within the UK. Puppy farming reports increase almost five-fold as reported by the RSPCA, 2019. In 2008 the animal charity received just 11 reports about puppy farming in the region, in 2018 they received a total of 117 reports from across Cheshire alone.
It is estimated that up to 25% of puppies sold in UK were born in puppy farms.
Illegal breeders can make millions of pounds rearing pups in dirty conditions, without food or water, the RSPCA said. There have been cases that have involved sick or dying puppies that are sold to unsuspecting members of the public for hundreds of pounds each. Conditions inside a Puppy Farm.
Marc Abraham, vet and founder of Pup Aid, campaigns to end puppy farming, told Panorama:
"In 2016, we should be better than this. We shouldn’t be farming dogs on a mass scale" In fact, it is 2020, we should be better than this.
"They feel pain, they feel suffering, they feel fear".
"The only people benefiting are the irresponsible breeders and the dog dealers."
This is animal cruelty, a crime that goes unnoticed. Wildlife crime is an issue worldwide, an issue in the UK that we together can help stop.
We are determined to end puppy farming within the UK, and we need your help to end the unjust cruelty for innocent, vulnerable puppies. We are a community. We can stop this together.
