I have had a life-threatening nut allergy since the age of 4, and now at 26 years of age, I find it shocking that I am not only struggling to find Auto-injectors due to the shortage, but also am having to pay for the prescriptions. 

The contraceptive pill is free on the NHS, yet a medication a person is unable to leave the house without is chargeable.

An allergy that requires adrenaline shots (Epipen or AAI’s) is severe enough to effect someones life, therefore, they should not have to pay the increasing rate of a prescription charge every few months. Free prescriptions are accepted for other crucial, long term medical conditions such as; high blood pressure, epilepsy and diabetes, and I feel anaphylaxis should be added to the list.

There has been a rise in awareness for severe allergies, so please, sign this petition to help those who require Epipen or other Adrenaline Auto- Injectors, get their life-saving medication for free.
