Make audio notifications at bus stops the standard

The Issue

Poor visibility of bus numbers makes travel by bus stressful, dangerous and inaccessible to people with visual impairments, reducing their ability to do the things they want to do, stay well and connected with others.

This could all be solved with audio notifications  at bus stops to let people know when their bus is arriving and what bus number it is. Despite this feature being included for other modes of transport; such as trams and trains, there's currently no sign of them becoming a mandatory feature at bus stops.

Whether it's to do with your sight, being or your phone, or just getting distracted audio notifications would make travel by bus better for more people.

Sign the petition to make audio notifications at bus stops the standard and make public transport, that all of the public should be able to use, that bit more accessible.
