On Friday 1st September, we had the exciting opportunity of meeting with Rt Hon Andrew Mitchell MP. He provided us with an insight into the political side of the campaign, by chatting to us about people's perceptions of climate change and the refugee crisis. Andrew Mitchell also gave his own view towards the refugee crisis. He stated that rather than taking refugees in, we should be combating issues in their homeland. He strongly believes in prevention - ensuring that people do not need to flee in the first place. The meeting really helped us consider new avenues for the campaign, and how we could engage a wider audience.
