Motorcycles are extremely fun and a useful mode of transport for many. Unfortunately also one of the most dangerous if not ridden correctly and with the right knowledge and road sense.

Most of the accidents are had by inexperienced riders, more so younger riders with no road sense having not used the roads before.

The CBT is NOT sufficient enough to instil the knowledge these younger riders need and as such I propose mandatory full motorcycle testing and tuition for ALL persons who wish to ride a motorcycle on the road. We wouldn't drive a car after 1 day riding around a car park it doesn't make any sense to do it on a vehicle with a much longer learning curve.

I believe this would cut down accidents and allow people to become safe REAL bikers much sooner.

Mandatory test will save lives and reduce insurance claims. It makes perfect sense.
