Clubs have been forcing women to wear heels to their events for years now. This rule only affects women, men have a much broader choice of foot wear. It’s wrong. If women would like to wear heels, that should be their choice. There are clubs that will even confiscate sliders and/or trainers from women who want to take their heels off due to pain. I personally, cannot truly enjoy my night once my feet start hurting from wearing heels. I believe it is ridiculous that clubs are still being able to make rules that target women. You may think, well there are clubs that tell men to wear “smart shoes”, now ask yourself... Are these shoes painful ? And how often do these clubs require this? This is not a hidden rule but it is discriminatory. Women should be able to choose. To heel or not to heel.
