Dogs being stolen has increased by 170% in the last year in the UK and the police aren’t doing enough to make sure these cases are being treated with enough seriousness, this is because dogs are classed as possessions, not family members and this shouldn’t be the case as people adopt dogs like they can adopt children and adoption means taking in one as your own for example like family. So in conclusion I would like the UK government to change the law for dog theft and treat it as a kidnapping.
