Cavalier King Charles Spaniels can inherit many health problems. These are just a few Chiari Malformation, Syringomyleia, Mitral Valve Heart Disease, Intervertebral Disc Disease. Entropion eye disease. Some breeders are continuing to breed although they have been told   their puppies they have sold have these diseases. We must stop this breeding as Norway has introduced a law. Research estimates 95% of Cavaliers have CM and 50% of Cavaliers have SM. Very painful conditions. These two diseases affect other breeds English Bulldogs, Brussel Griffon and Chihuahuas and others. We need the Government to investigate and stop this suffering. I have put to sleep a beloved Cavalier Oscar with all these diseases. We had to make the hardest decision of our lives. The breeder never stopped breeding from his sibling or Mum after being told 5 years ago.
