The Issue

This petition has been set up with the hope that I will have your support in changing the Laws in the UK surrounding the rights of Grandparents having contact with grandchildren.

If a child has been taken from their parents care, it should not victimise grandparents and if grandparents have no criminal history, are not abusing substances, and are not at risk in any other form of harming a child, then grandparents should have automatic rights to see their grandchild/ren

Grandparents want to love and see THEIR GRANDCHILD/REN, and be a part of their lives. A grandparent holds so much information for a grandchild - to learn about who they are etc

As Grandparents have no legal rights in the UK over their grandchildren, although in some circumstances, they can have ''Letterbox Contact'', grandparents can and often do feel victimised and so I am campaigning to change the laws

Please support my campaign and change these laws so that Grandparents have automatic contact rights
