This petition calls upon the UK government to give up their various allowances including but not limited to their heating and food allowances, as an indication that we are all in it together as well as helping to fill the £22 billion black hole that they allege exists.  If the people of the UK including pensioners are expected to manage on often low incomes, why shouldn't politicians have to rely on their wages without extras?
