Mr. Nnamdi Kanu , a British citizen was kidnapped by the tyrannical government of Nigeria since the 14th of October 2015 and has since been incarcerated and tortured. Till date the Foreign and Common wealth office has done nothing to secure his release. His arrest goes again all the ethics of Human Rights and Free speech. The court before which he was arraigned using trumped up charges has since asked that he met certain bail conditions and be released. The bail conditions have since been met however the Directorate of State Security in Nigeria (DSS) has refused to adhere to the court’s order. It is very clear that the Nigeria government does not obey the rule of law and therefore continue to keep Mr. Nnamdi Kanu Incarcerated and we are concerned for his life.
We are therefore petitioning the House to request for the immediate repatriation of Nnamdi Kanu back to Britain as he is a British citizen and He resides here in the United Kingdom with his family.
