The primary purpose of the petition is to enable the free and unfettered access of the UNHCR to record and assist persons from Ukraine currently in the Russian Federation. This will hopefully reunite families that have been split up by Russia's policy of relocating persons to the Russian Federation against their will. Time is now of the essence to avoid continued suffering and heartache for tens of thousands Ukranians and their families.
