Take action to provide alternatives to school attendance and withdraw the threat of fines

The Issue

Given the increase on the positive case rate of the Coronavirus we believe the Government need to act immediately to provide alternative education reducing school attendance and remove the threat of fines for those who feel schools are unsafe.

The Government are in breach of their own guidance for school return......the virus is increasing not controlled, easy access testing is not available, Track and Trace cannot be effective due to the lack of testing, children do transmit the virus, schools are not in possession of the true symptoms for children - raised by SAGE in July and ignored by the UK Government and Dept of Education.namely  " Children’s Task & Finish Group: Risks associated with the reopening of education settings in September. .dated July 8th 2020
Among children there is evidence of 3 distinct clusters of symptoms: an influenza-like illness (headache, fatigue, fever, chest/joint pain), a respiratory illness (runny nose, sore throat, shortness of breath, wheeze/cough) and an abdominal illness (abdominal pain, vomiting, rash, diarrhoea)."

Over 1000 schools affected in the UK it is time to act
