Today, June 24th 2016, the British people have voted with a clear majority to leave the European Union and to take back control of our democracy. It is only right that our nation should celebrate this day of national liberation. Let's celebrate the bravery of the British electorate, let's celebrate our parliamentary democracy and let's mark June 24th as British Independence Day.
