Hi all I'd love your support on this issue because why is it ok for me or you or anyone else to terrify our beloved family dog members??

They have probably a thousand × better hearing than us ~ it's no surprise that the bangs/whizzing ect of the fireworks scare the life out of nearly all dogs!!

Ok your a dog owner? What's life like when it comes to firework season? How often do you look at your furry family member and think "god one of these days X or Y is going to have a heart attack one of these times" ???? It's really unfair ~ I bet if we were to do the same thing to humans it would most definitely be a crime!!!!!!!!!

I know that feeling very well ~ my own older border collie wont even step out the house door when he even thinks he has heard  anything remotely fireworks like.

Im asking for you all to support me in demanding that the UK Government follow Italy's lead in making all FIREWORKS SILENT!! Now I know probably alot of people including kids will like the vast array of colours that fireworks produce.  I'll back that ~ I like the colours too :-)

What I have the problem with is that our dogs are subjected to total fear because people want nice pretty colours ect but with the loudest bangs! Our dogs can hear them probably from about 2miles away!!

So let's work together for SILENT FIREWORKS and for the people/kids who love them! But let's included the furry members of our family too and also our elderly family members/friends and neighbour's!!

 Imagine this ~ we can create enough pressure to put on the UK Government so that they cave and make it law!! Firework silence is the way forward!

For those who love them ~ they still have them and the pretty colours. And for us ~ we will have less stressed out dogs!
