Rebecca Allison, pictured here, was one of the lucky ones to be diagnosed early through participating in a trial.  However, 35,000 people in the UK are not so lucky; this many people die from lung cancer every year because they are denied the opportunity to be diagnosed early enough for treatment.  Lung cancer is the biggest cancer killer in our country.  Survival rates are among the worst in Europe.

The technology exists to detect lung cancer early, with a simple blood test.
