Logans Law

On July 31st 2021, Logan Mwangi was found 500m from his “family home” where he lived with his Mum, Stepdad and Stepbrother who are all involved in his murder. Logan was found with injuries that they liked to a high speed collision that were dated also before his death. 

Logans Biological Father lives in Essex and had his son taken away without consent, and as much as he fought he was denied access in order for Williamson to keep him out of the loop. 

Logan was known to social services, his father was completely unaware of this. We are losing far too many children who are known to social services and the other parents are left in guilt wishing they’d known. Logans Law is for a child known to social services and being monitored, to have their other biological parent (or next of kin) notified of the complaints being made against their child when serious and being looked into. 

I feel many children could have been saved had this happened. There also needs to be a look into the system that when a Social Worker is denied entry to see the child that it is looked further into that day, as this could have also saved Logan.
